We are DONE with Evil Epic

As much as I personally hate Epic Games now for what they have become, I am also a believer of “hate the creator, not the creation”… As well as deny them their funding…

When it comes to non-commercial use, sometimes it may be unavoidable for us not to avoid the engine, and may wish to give it a spin once in a while. That does not mean we have to endorse them. Our goal is to deny Epic Games their precious royalties and revenue with the Unreal Engines. Free games on their engine do not make Epic zilch. They result in empty money bags – naught but pure passion and love of the craft, just to spite them.

Despite my newfound hatred for the company behind them (a company I once loved from the bottom of my heart), I still love the Unreal Engines. They are my life and have been for decades. All I wanted was for Epic Games to remember who they were, come back to the light, and treat their community like we still matter. None of what I am doing today against them I will ever truly enjoy, but until they can change for the best, this is path I must tread. And if they refuse to change all the way to their death bed, so be it. Industry shall move on without them.

With all of their history destroyed, that time will probably never come.
